AI-Powered Discovery. Field-Proven Results.

Our discovery platform blends machine learning, modern geoscience, and boots-on-the-ground fieldwork. Zanskar built the first full AI engine for geothermal exploration and every model we run is grounded in and tested with extensive real-world data. That’s how we find what others miss.

Aggregate:

We compile geophysical, thermal, geologic, and satellite data across entire regions.

Analyze:

Our AI engine predicts where the most productive geothermal heat is hiding.

Validate:

Exploration teams ground-truth each site using advanced field methods.

Drill:

Guided by the data, we target the most promising spots with advanced drilling technologies.

Turning Prospects into Power

Zanskar now owns the largest greenfield pipeline for conventional geothermal in the industry. We’re developing the next wave of geothermal projects across the western United States, using AI-driven resource modeling and advanced drilling methods to cut costs and compress development timelines. With thousands of overlooked sites across the region, we are scaling up a new generation of utility-grade, always-on power.

A New Standard for Geothermal

In May 2024, Zanskar purchased the Lightning Dock Geothermal power plant, which had been significantly underperforming for several years. In less than one year, Zanskar brought the plant back to its full capacity and is delivering power to the grid after discovering and drilling in a deeper, hotter zone.

Lightning Dock is currently New Mexico’s only utility-scale geothermal power plant, providing carbon-free, firm baseload power for customers around the state. The site now houses the world’s most productive pumped geothermal well in the United States – and we’re just getting started.
